On Sunday, November 16, The Reverend Nita Byrd, university chaplain, was the guest speaker for the Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church’s adult Christian education hour. The Reader’s Theatre Troupe was introduced to the parish at the 9 a.m. worship service. Following the service, the attendees had the opportunity to learn more the history of Saint Augustine’s University through actor portrayals performed by the Reader’s Theatre Troupe.

“I hope this is the beginning of an ongoing relationship with Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church,” The Reverend Byrd said.

The Troupe also had an opportunity to meet Mrs. Margaret Goold Williams. Williams is the daughter of The Reverend Edgar H. Goold, a former president of Saint Augustine’s University.
